We are happy to announce that after implementing some substantial technical improvements and popular demand, Plagium is working again and available for free usage while we continue to test and build the service.
Plagium is an innovative, fast, and easy-to-use means to check text against possible plagiarism or possible sources of origination. Simply enter text that you would like to analyze into the text box and let Plagium do the rest of the work. You can also check the contents of an entered URL for its sources.
Check news clips and so-called words of public officials, critics, experts, whomever – and find out where they get their ideas or even their words! Learn who else may be using your own and original content without your authorization.
Please tell us about your Plagium experience. Your feedback will help us to improve upon Plagium’s functionalities and performance. Also, spread the word!
Thanks,

I had a weird experience... as iam beginning to write my research paper which i am about to send two weeks from today and hopefully graduate. This is my final class and im done from university if all is well. I thought of trying your tool, but what surprised me is that i have written my introduction in my words and when i pressed on the button that says track my plagiarism i found 10 related documents. What does this mean?
ReplyDeleteIs there a way in which I can pass in a search string on the URL? I'd love to put a "Check with Plagium" link on a web form, and write some javascript to pass in the value of a field on that form, so that when Plagium opens in a new window, that value is already filled into the Plagium form. Or better yet, the window skips right to the results for that text. Is this possible today? If not, it would be a great enhancement.
ReplyDeleteHello:
ReplyDeleteYes you can use the following URL:
www.plagium.com/index.cfm?text=YOURSEARCH
Where YOURSEARCH is the content of your query.

Perfect! Thanks for the quick reply!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThis is a super tool and you guys deserve all the rewards. You may need to check because for the past half an hour your program seems to be hanging half way through a search.
Thanks for your feedback. We checked the site and currently everything seems fine. Maybe you should restart your browser, and try again.

Hi there,
ReplyDeleteRe the comment above about using Plagium by way of a search string:
Can you provide any more details on what sort of format the YOURSEARCH text needs to be in?
e.g. do spaces need to be converted to "+", commas to "%2C" etc. ( as is the case when doing a Google search)?
Thanks - Richard

ReplyDeleteWhen I click on "Track plagiarism", I immediately bring up a dialog box that says "Error" with a yellow triangle before it. In the Title Bar is simply says "Message from Webpage". Using IE 8.0. What might this indicate? After clicking ok, it proceeds to search.
